The Marina Alta is the central coastal region of the Valencian Community of Spain, located within the provice of Alicante.

The Marina Alta likes to party, they don’t just celebrate the Alicante Fiestas but also celebrate the fiestas of their neighbouring towns in Valencia.  You can enjoy the spectacular Moors and Christian parades between the months of April and September, and the amazing Fallas during March.

With some of the best beaches on the mediterranean, medieval villages to explore, and mitchelin star restaurants to tantalise your tastebuds there is something for everyone.

If you are energetic then you will love the many walking routes which take you over the mountians and through the fantastic displays of flowering trees and local fruit farms.

There are caves to explore, natural parks to visit and local fiestas to experience.

If shopping is your thing, then there are Flea Markets and Markets offering local produce in every town once a week.  Too hot for an outside market! Then head to a shopping mall such as Portal La Marina in Ondara where you will find well known shops and coffee bars in a pleasant, air conditioned environment.

Once you visit the Marina Alta you will always come back for seconds.
